My first breeding queen and foundation of all Sargenta cats. 18 consecutive CC`s and BoB, 4 Res Grands and 3 Grands all gained in a very short time. She produced very many Silver Grand Champions and Champions and the famous Blue Spotted Grand Sargenta Blue Gismo. Sofie herself became “Top British Adult” in the Great Cats of Great Britain Awards 1986/87.

Grand Champion Sargenta Blue Gismo (30a)
11.07.1991 - 08.08.2002

Sofie mated to a wonderful British Blue Champion Leithill Just William produced Gismo. Gismo again was legendary. He was unstoppable on the show bench, having all red card days many times.

He won his first Grand at the Supreme in 1992, his 2nd Grand at the National 1992 and was the first ever Blue Spotted Grand Champion to be made up at the Croydon`s Cat Club Show on 20. February 1993. He featured on front cover of CATS magazine in May 1994 and the front Cover of the American magazine CAT FANCY in July of that same year.

Gismo was very instrumental in the breeding of the British Shorthair Silver Series and was re-registered as a Blue-Silver, although I never believed that he was anything other than a blue spotted. He occupies a huge place in my heart and I have not yet come to terms with his loss.

Prince was my first ever Silver Tabby stud boy and so very different from the Silver Spotteds. His main feature was his huge head, which he has passed on right through the lines of Tabby breeding. His son Champion Sargenta Silver Jewel is still siring kittens in Norway and I have his son Ch Sargenta Silver Nickel. Prince was featured on the front cover of Cat World in May 1994. He was neutered in March 1998 and is happily living out his retirement with his new owner Emma Paterson.

Tallulah is litter sister to Tania. She was the smallest In a litter of seven and I hand reared her. She became so affectionate that I could never part with her. She has all the qualities of her sister and developed to a good adult size.

Alas for breeding, she was blood group B. Although Tallulah had five lovely kittens on 29 August 2003 she was spayed shortly after as I could not find another B bloodgroup stud for her. She was re-homed to a friend and it was incredibly hard to let her go.
